But likes alone won't pay your bills.

What's possibly worse than not getting any engagement is having a bunch of likes + comments that you feel compelled to respond to, while still not having anyone interested in what you have to offer.

I've spoken with people who had 5K, 12K, 45K, and even 88K followers on LinkedIn but struggled to get clients.

Last month, I had a call with a prominent person on the platform with 11K followers. They regularly get hundreds of likes on their posts and loads of comments. The challenge they admitted in our conversation? They haven't yet got a single client from the endless hours they spend on the platform every week.

Ouch.

There's layers to this problem...

  1. Some don't have a clear, aligned, and profitable niche that they're excited to serve.
  2. Others have clarity on the right niche for them but are missing key things in their messaging that makes people take action.
  3. And lastly, some have those first two dialled in, but it doesn't matter because their message isn't getting in front of the right people.


Thankfully, that's easy to solve.

One of the things I love about LinkedIn is how easy it is to get your message in front of the right folks. No platform has a more robust search function. And there's no other place online, short of maybe dating apps, where people are more open to connecting with strangers.

So how do you make the most of this?
